Riedel Marketing Group’s Cookware Market Tracker Reveals The Growing Importance of Cookware Sets
Phoenix, AZ, May 12, 2016 – Cookware sets accounted for a significantly larger percent of cookware purchases in the first quarter of 2015 than they did in the same time period two years ago, according to the latest edition of Riedel Marketing Group’s (RMG) Cookware Market Tracker.
“Over the past two years, we’ve seen a shift in the types of cookware U.S. consumers are buying,” said A.J. Cibus 2016 Ends On An Unprecedented High For Exhibitors, Visitors and Buyers
(Parma, 19 May 2016) - Cibus 2016, the international Italian food fair held in Parma (Italy) ends with three thousand exhibitors spread over 130 thousand square metres and 72 thousand visitors, of whom 16 thousand were foreign operators and 2,200 top buyers (in 2014 there were 67 thousand visitors and 13 thousand foreign operators).

Charles Viancin Opens New York Headquarters
Charles Viancin Group, known worldwide for its nature-inspired silicone lids and kitchen and bar tools, announced a global restructuring and the opening of a New York-based U.S. headquarters facility.

Pulmuone Foods Co. Ltd. has completed the acquisition of substantially all of the assets of Vitasoy USA Inc., which includes the Nasoya, Azumaya and San Sui brands in North America.

UNFI Completes Haddon House Purchase
United Natural Foods Inc. has completed its previously announced acquisition of all of the outstanding equity interests of Haddon House Food Products Inc. and certain affiliated entities as well as certain real estate on financial terms previously announced.
The company financed the purchase price for Haddon with borrowings under the company’s revolving credit facility. The final purchase price is subject to a customary post-closing net working capital adjustment.
