Williams-Sonoma Introduces Recipe App
Williams-Sonoma, in collaboration with Weldon Owen Publishing, a division of Bonnier Corp. and Culinate Inc., has released a mobile-optimized version of the Williams-Sonoma Recipe of the Day app on Apple’s App Store.
The innovative app delivers a seasonally appropriate recipe every day of the year, from a selection of Williams-Sonoma’s starters, salads, sides, soups, main dishes and desserts. The app’s built-in search tools allow users to filter recipes based on course, season, technique, ingredient or dietary preference.

The Housewares Charity Foundation (HCF) raised more than $2.3 million for charity at its 18th annual gala during the International Home + Housewares Show.
Proceeds from the event, held at Chicago’s Navy Pier, benefited The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), the HCF’s legacy charity, along with Save the Children, an organization that invests in childhood – every day, in times of crisis and for the future.

Clif Bar Breaks Ground for Sustainable Bakery in Idaho
Clif Bar & Co., a leading maker of nutritious and organic foods and drinks, broke ground for its first owned and operated bakery in Twin Falls, Idaho.
With a focus on people and sustainability, the new 275,000-square-foot bakery will help the company meet growing demand for organic energy and nutrition bars.
