Chef Paul Prudhomme dies at age 75
Paul Prudhomme, the Cajun who popularized spicy Louisiana cuisine and became one of the first American restaurant chefs to achieve worldwide fame, died Oct. 1 at age 75. Tiffanie Roppolo, the CFO of Prudhomme's businesses, which includes his Magic Seasoning Blends line, told The Associated Press that he died early Oct. 1 after a brief illness.
