Sir Kensington's Names Jennie Poe as Director of Natural Sales

NEW YORK, Sept. 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Sir Kensington's, the leading all-natural condiments company, today announced the appointment of Jennie Poe, Director of Natural Sales. Poe will report directly to Mark Ramadan, Sir Kensington's CEO, and will be charged with developing the sales growth strategy to expand the company's presence in the natural market.

"Sir Kensington's exemplifies all of the attributes of a successful brand: high-quality, ethically-sourced ingredients, an immaculate reputation, and effective execution against expansion strategies," said Poe. "I am very excited to join this passionate team and experience the company's exponential growth trajectory first-hand."

Poe joins Sir Kensington's with 8 years of experience in the natural grocery channel, including 3 years at Whole Foods Market where she served as the Southwest Regional Grocery Buyer and was recognized for working with emerging brands to develop innovative new products for Whole Foods Market. Prior to Whole Foods Market, Poe held sales positions at Hain Celestial Group and Presence Marketing.

"We could not be more proud to welcome Jennie to the team," said Ramadan. "Not only has she has played a key role in purchasing and partnerships during her time at Whole Foods, but she has a personal passion for our mission of moving food forward. We have no doubt that Jennie's knowledge and leadership will be pivotal in Sir Kensington's continued growth and success."

The hire comes just weeks after the company announced an $8.5 million Series A equity financing round led by Verlinvest, a privately-held European investment firm with a focus on fast-growing branded consumer product and service companies.
