Prepara Secures Design Patent For Salad Pod Food Container

Ridgefield Park, NJ — March 25, 2026: Freshlink Product Development, LLC dba Prepara announced that it has been issued U.S. Design Patent No. D1,115,456 S, granted on March 3, 2026, covering the design of its Salad Pod food container. The company is proud to introduce this latest milestone in its product innovation efforts and noted that additional patents related to the Pod series are currently pending.

Over the last six months, Prepara has identified multiple products in the marketplace that closely replicate its patented design. In response, the company is taking steps to protect its intellectual property and reinforce the importance of original design within the housewares category by having products removed from various retail platforms.  Prepara is prepared to enforce its patent and fully defend its intellectual property, including pursuing injunctive relief and monetary damages where appropriate.
