Prepara Announces Licensing and Distribution Deal with Catamount Glass

Montclair, NJ (October 31, 2020) – Prepara is pleased to announce it has signed a licensing and distribution agreement with Catamount Glassware of Bennington, Vermont.  For 38 Catamount Glassware designed and manufactured high quality borosilicate glass cookware setting the standard in the industry. After the untimely passing of its founder Alain Karyo in August of 2019, Catamount shut down operations. 

Prepara has been part of the kitchenware industry for more than 10 years with many trailblazing and exceptional products from everyday essentials to innovative kitchen tools.  Seeing a natural fit with the Prepara assortment, they entered into an exclusive agreement with Catamount Glassware, allowing Prepara to use the designs, brand and manufacturing process pioneered by Alain Karyo.  Prepara will continue to use the same borosilicate glassware supplier Catamount had used for 20 years ensuring the highest quality and performance  in the industry .

This agreement allows the continued availability of Catamount products including their best in class Microwave Corn Popper as part of a “Movie Night Gift Set”, 4 Cup Fat Separator, Measuring Cups and other key items.
