Prepara Debuts Berry Pod, Expanding Its Pod Line with a Fresh Take for On-the-Go Storage

Designed to keep berries fresher for longer, the Berry Pod addresses a common frustration: delicate berries that spoil quickly or become soggy when packed with other foods. With a removable inner basket that promotes airflow and separation, the Berry Pod helps maintain freshness while supporting a more organized, mess-free eating experience whether at home, at work, or on the go.

The Berry Pod builds on the trusted design of the Salad Pod, incorporating a removable basket that helps separate moisture from fruit, reducing sogginess and extending freshness. The compact, portable design supports healthier eating habits by making it easier to pack fresh fruit alongside meals.

For cleaning, the removable basket and watertight Berry Pod make it easy to thoroughly soak and rinse fruit. Once cleaned, simply remove the lid and pour water out from the top to drain. The basket’s elevated design helps keep excess moisture away from the fruit while promoting airflow, helping berries stay fresher longer whether stored in the refrigerator or taken on the go.

Prepara is introducing the Berry Pod through two distinct iterations. The first is direct-to-consumer via the company’s website, www.prepara.com. For current Salad Pod users, the Berry Basket (MSRP $3.00) is offered as a modular accessory designed to integrate seamlessly with the existing Salad Pod system. For new users, the Salad Pod and Berry Basket Bundle is available in green for $28.00. The second is through retail and Amazon distribution, where Prepara is offering an all-in-one Berry Pod in red, priced at $25.00.
