Glennville, GA - JUNE 2025- Mascot Inc. has hired Tore Swenson (based in
Chaska, MN) as their Vice President of Sales. Swenson, who has over 20
years of experience in the specialty food industry, will help lead the
company in private label and branded opportunities within grocery,
specialty, c-store and vending markets. She recently came from Hammond's
Candies as their Senior Vice President of Sales. During her time at
Hammond's, she assisted in the growth and sale of the company to a private

"I'm very excited about working for Mascot - they were a business partner of
Hammond's as a manufacturer of our nut candies and peanut brittle," says
Swenson. "I was amazed to learn of all their capabilities, including
chocolate enrobing, chocolate bars and chocolate molds. They also create
interesting panned nuts, including my favorite, Habanero Pineapple Cashews."
The President & CEO of Mascot, Kenny Tarver, has decided to add Swenson to
their team to help build the company and their brand. "We have been looking
for the right person to fill this role, and when the opportunity to hire
Swenson arose, it was an easy decision. She is very familiar with the
industry and has previous experience with our products."
