Gift, Gourmet Gains Continue at Las Vegas Market

LAS VEGAS – (February 27, 2019) – Las Vegas Market announced today that a dozen gift and gourmet tenants are upping their commitment to the Market with more than 10,000 square feet of relocated, expanded and renewed showrooms already confirmed for Summer 2019 Market, running July 28 to Aug. 1, 2019.

“These early commitments speak to the growing strength of Las Vegas Market, the partnerships we’ve developed with buyers and exhibitors, and the Market’s overall ability to deliver results,” said Dave Savula, executive vice president, president of gift and apparel leasing for International Market Centers. “So far, we’ve seen more than 6,700 square feet of relocated, expanded and renewed gourmet showrooms and another 3,550 square foot of these commitments in gift showrooms.”

Housewares, Tabletop and Specialty Food

Four current gourmet exhibitors are relocating and expanding their showrooms for Summer Market. Costa Nova, manufacturer of high-quality tableware and accessories made of fine stoneware, is nearly tripling its original space by expanding into a 1,980-square-foot showroom on C1. On C11, LeadingWare, supplier of housewares and tabletop, is expanding into a 294-square-foot showroom; Mills Gourmet, producer of housewares and herbs and spices, is relocating into a 158-square-foot space; and multi-lines agency Muir Sales is expanding by 20 percent into a 7,311-square-foot showroom.

Additionally, three suppliers recently renewed leases for showrooms on the 11th floor of Building C. Renewing showrooms include: Chukar Cherries, producer of dried fruits, chocolates, and 100-percent-natural sauces, in 158 square feet; Sea Stones, Inc., which is part of the American Made Collective, into 3,646 square feet; and Supreme Housewares, producer of high-quality kitchenware and whimsical products, in 294 square feet.

“We’ve been showing at Las Vegas Market for more than 10 years and have never been disappointed,” said Teresa Garcia, business gift supervisor for Chukar Cherries. “We are able to build relationships with our current customers and make face-to-face connections with new customers who might not have discovered us were it not for the exposure we get at the Market!”

Las Vegas Market launched its gourmet housewares, tabletop and specialty food presentation on C11 in 2015 and today the Market features more than 750 resources. For Summer Market, the Market will showcase a total of 750+ gourmet resources, with a concentration of 300 on C11, and another 450+ presented in permanent showrooms and temporary exhibits across campus. Notable Las Vegas Market gourmet resources include: Alessi; Arte Italica; Chilewich; Costa Nova; Eva Solo; Fishs Eddy; Hester & Cook; JK Adams; KAI USA; OXO; Riedel; Siren Song; Skyros Designs; Vitamix; and Wusthof.
