Little Bird Kitchen Completes New Manufacturing Space, Rebranding

Little Bird Kitchen, the New York-based makers of candied jalapeño products, has updated its look with a new logo and tagline, including adding the hashtag #hotandsweet to all of its products.

Owners Corey and Sara Meyer also announced the completion of their new manufacturing space in Plainview, N.Y. The 11,000-square-foot space enables Little Bird Kitchen to significantly expand production and hire additional staff.

Little Bird Kitchen’s products, which earned kosher and non-GMO certifications in 2016, include the original Fire Bark and Fire Bites, chocolate with candied jalapeños; and new products: Fire Powder, powdered candied jalapeños; and Fire Syrup, a jalapeño-based syrup with a honeylike consistency that can be used as a glaze or ingredient.

Little Bird Kitchen is the winner of five Chile Pepper Awards from Chile Pepper magazine; five Scovie Awards; a silver Fiery Food Award from the Fiery Food Show and two World Hot Sauce Awards from the World Hot Sauce Organization. Its products are founding more than 70 stores in the greater New York area and in California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Ohio and elsewhere in stores and online.
