Hestan Culinary Honored with 2025 Red Dot Award for Provisions Chef’s Tools Collection

NAPA VALLEY, Calif. (June 10, 2025) – Hestan Culinary, the premium cookware brand designed with thoughtful innovation and meticulous craftsmanship for a lifetime of high-quality performance, is proud to announce it has received a 2025 Red Dot Product Design Award for its Provisions Chef’s Tools Collection, available in a 5, 6 or 8-piece set. This globally respected distinction highlights Hestan’s dedication to design innovation and performance, reinforcing its reputation as a leader in professional-grade culinary tools for both home and professional chefs.

This prestigious recognition joins Hestan Culinary’s list of industry accolades, including the 2021 Red Dot Award for excellence in product design for its ProBond Forged stainless steel and CopperBond induction copper cookware collections and 2022 Red Dot Product Design Award for its Thomas Keller Insignia Collection.

Crafted from high-grade 18/10 stainless steel and built to the same exact standards as Hestan’s acclaimed cookware, the Provisions Chef’s Tools reflect the brand’s relentless pursuit of excellence. Developed in collaboration with culinary professionals, every tool has been rigorously tested and refined for superior balance, control and durability.

Dating back to the 1950s, the Red Dot Award for Product Design recognizes products for their outstanding design achievements and innovations. This year, entries from over 60 countries were reviewed by 43 judges from 21 countries, including designers, professors, journalists and consultants, who evaluated each product for its outstanding design and innovation.

“The Provisions Chef’s Tools look like pieces of jewelry, but their form is extremely functional and has been thought through down to the smallest detail,” said the Red Dot Jury.

The Provisions Chef’s Tools Collection includes eight uniquely designed stainless-steel utensils and a Porcelain Bain-Marie holder. Tools can be purchased individually or in one of three curated sets:

Porcelain Bain-Marie: Made from bright white porcelain for exceptional durability and chip resistance, this Bain-Marie offers greater capacity for kitchen utensils and tools compared to standard tool holders.

Stainless Steel Deep Spoon: This 13-inch deep spoon boasts a precisely crafted stainless steel handle and a deeper, bowl-like design for enhanced versatility.

Stainless Steel Slotted Spoon: Reengineered to provide narrower slots and bowl-like dimensions, the 13-inch Slotted Spoon is ideal for poaching, stirring, serving, or frying.

Stainless Steel Ladle: A deep 5-ounce bowl shape, the 13-inch ladle is surface-tension optimized to allow drip-free pouring from any angle, leaving no mess in the kitchen.

Stainless Steel Solid Turner: Features a beautifully precise stainless steel handle and finely beveled-edge blade that easily slides under food.

Stainless Steel Slotted Turner: A finely beveled-edge spatula blade, designed with a sharp angle for easy, fuss-free turning, replacing all spatulas in the kitchen.

Stainless Steel Pasta Fork: With familiar ergonomic handles, this 13-inch pasta fork features optimized prongs to better hold all types of short and long pasta, making it easier to transfer.

Stainless Steel Flexible Fish Spatula: Chef designed ergonomic handle and slotted spring steel turning surface, the 13-inch Flexible Fish Spatula is proven to not deform over time.

Stainless Steel French Whisks: Offered in 9-inch or 12-inch, the French-style whisk features a precise stainless steel handle and thicker tines ideal for rigorous whisking and enduring performance.

Stainless Steel Balloon Whisks: Offered in 9-inch and 12-inch sizes, the Balloon-style whisks features a unique shape for optimal aeration, making it a must-have for airy creations like whipped cream and meringues.

Each piece is built for lifelong performance, with a gleaming polished finish and ergonomic design that complements Hestan’s broader cookware collections.

“In designing the Provisions Chef’s Tools Collection, we aimed to elevate the foundational tools every chef relies on,” said Pamela Stafford, Hestan Culinary’s President & CEO. “Every curve, contour and detail was thoughtfully crafted to deliver exceptional control, comfort and functionality in both professional and home kitchens.”

The Red Dot Gala will take place on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at the Aalto Theater in Essen, Germany, followed by the Designers’ Night at the Red Dot Design Museum, where Hestan will be celebrated among the year’s most innovative design leaders.
