Award-Winning Gourmet Market Plans Another Opening

Epicure Gourmet Market & Café, an award-winning specialty retail concept with stores in Miami Beach and Sunny Isles Beach Fla., will soon occupy the lower level of Gables Ponce, a mixed-use project at the corner of one of the busiest thoroughfares in Coral Gables, Fla. The 24,000-square-foot gourmet grocery and restaurant will open in October, offering a high-quality, eclectic mix of groceries, fine wines, teas and specialty foods.

From conception, our vision for this development was to create an inviting center that naturally fosters meaningful interaction among neighbors, and the addition of Epicure Market is sure to surpass our expectations.”

Epicure Gourmet Market & Café will feature a selection of teas, tuna, sauces, spices, preserves, pastas and chocolates, as well as gourmet staples of fresh fruits, vegetables and high-quality meats and poultry. Shoppers will also find a unique selection of olive oils, balsamic vinegars, sea salts and more than 30 different types of waters.

“We’ve been searching for the perfect location within Coral Gables for quite some time,” said Jason Starkman, owner of Epicure Gourmet Market & Café. “Gables Ponce was the ideal fit with its stunning architecture and prime visibility. The increasing demand for gourmet and specialty foods in the area was also a deciding factor in our decision-making process, so we are excited to bring our unique grocery experience to the neighborhood.”

In addition to its gourmet grocery, Epicure Gourmet Market & Café will house a European-style restaurant and café offering full-service beer, wine and coffee bars. The restaurant and café will be serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night bites. Epicure Gourmet Market & Café will also offer catering for takeout or delivery, and boast a farm-direct floral department.
