2026 Good Food Awards Names Grains & Oils Finalists

The Good Food Awards today announces the 2026 finalists in the Grains and Oils categories, selected through a rigorous blind tasting held in March 2026. These products reflect the work of exceptional American crafters committed to raising the bar on good food.

This brings the 2026 Good Food Awards finalist total for all 18 categories to 381 products from 261 companies. From among this standout group of finalists, 243 products from 198 crafters will be named Good Food Award winners in New York City this summer, announced in conjunction with the Good Food Mercantile on June 28.

“This year’s finalists in the Grains and Oils categories are a testament to the hard work and great skill of these crafters,” says Good Food’s Nora Weiser. “All of them should be commended for their dedication to sustainability, responsible practices, and care for animals, land, and people.”

Grains and Oils were judged separately from the other 16 Good Food Awards categories to accommodate their distinct seasonality. Judges evaluated each entry through a blind tasting process, identifying products that set the standard for taste, authenticity and conscious craftsmanship.

The Good Food Awards Grains category recognizes cereal grains, legumes, pasta and tortillas grown in the United States using practices that support soil health and avoid synthetic inputs. The Oils category honors fruit, nut and seed oils crafted for outstanding flavor, using sustainable, traditional methods without added heat, chemical extraction or artificial additives.

The 2026 Good Food Awards Winners will be announced in conjunction with the Good Food Mercantile and the Specialty Food Association’s Summer Fancy Food Show, taking place June 28-30, 2026 in New York City. This annual event brings together a diverse community of values-minded food crafters, retailers, grocers and chefs passionate about good food.

Good Food Mercantile will take place Sunday, June 28 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Javits Center, River Pavilion. Crafters interested in exhibiting can apply at goodfoodfdn.org/mercantile/. All current Good Food Guild members are considered Good Food Qualified and are eligible to exhibit.

Access to attend Good Food Mercantile is included with registration for the Summer Fancy Food Show.
