CorningWare, Corelle Brands Plan Fashion Week Event

The CorningWare and Corelle brands have joined with fashion designer Rebecca Minkoff and Chef Nate Appleman for a Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week event that incorporates high style when cooking, baking and serving. 

The brands will be hosting a Fashion Kitchen dinner with Minkoff and Appleman. Known for her playful collections with unexpected touches, Minkoff will share her fashionable entertaining tips and tricks while Appleman will serve up select signature dishes in a style inspired by the fashion designer’s favorite foods. 

A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and 2009’s Rising Star Chef at the James Beard Foundation Awards, Appleman was also 2009 and 2012 Next Iron Chef contestant. With a vision of building a lifestyle brand for the downtown romantic, San Diego-born Minkoff founded her company in 2001.

“Style is more than just the clothes you wear; it’s a way of life, an expression of who you are. I love entertaining and keeping a chic kitchen,” said Minkoff.  “I’m excited to work with CorningWare and Corelle to entertain and set the table in a fashionable way.”

CorningWare recently refreshed its iconic French White product line with a new fluted design to deliver contemporary design, improved versatility and ease of use. The Boutique by Corelle line delivers statement-making dinnerware that combines an elevated embossed design with durable Vitrelle glassware technology. The Corelle brand offering includes 75 designs incorporating patterns, florals and more. 

The event includes a sweepstakes so at-home fashionistas passionate about food and entertaining can win a suite of CorningWare and Corelle products weekly, and the grand prize trip for two to attend select Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week events, the Fashion Kitchen dinner with Minkoff and Appleman, as well as Rebecca Minkoff’s fashion show.
