The CBA to Make Strong Presence at 2026 Inspired Home Show

Bradley Beach, NJ

The Cookware and Bakeware Alliance (CBA) is excited to announce its participation in the upcoming Inspired Home Show, taking place March 10-12, 2026, at McCormick Place in Chicago. This year's Show promises to be a dynamic opportunity for the CBA to connect with current members, welcome prospective members, and engage with potential sponsors in the heart of the home and housewares industry.

Visit the CBA Booth

Throughout the Show, the CBA booth will be staffed by knowledgeable team members ready to discuss membership benefits, sponsorship opportunities, and answer questions about the organization's resources and initiatives.

Current members can learn more about accessing exclusive resources like the engineering standards, industry reports, member connections, and the Standards of Excellence program.

Prospective members and sponsors will discover how the CBA serves as the voice of authority and influence in the cookware and bakeware industry, setting standards that unite manufacturers, retailers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

Safety Standards Take Center Stage

A highlight of the CBA's presence at the Inspired Home Show will be a presentation at the Innovation Theater, located in the South Building at S101A. CBA Managing Director Fran Attilio will present this session on legislation updates, alongside Tom Lee of Latham & Watkins LLP, Tobias Gerfin of the Federation of the European Cookware and Cutlery Industries, and Steve Burns of the Cookware Sustainability Alliance.

In conversations, CBA team members will be highlighting the CBA's engineering standards and their role in ensuring cookware and bakeware safety—a topic that has never been more relevant as consumer awareness and legislative attention around product safety continues to intensify.

The CBA has been at the forefront of product safety for over a century, developing comprehensive engineering standards that serve as the industry's minimum requirements for manufacturing safe cookware and bakeware. Attendees will gain insights into how these standards can help manufacturers, retailers, and the entire supply chain address growing consumer concerns about cookware safety.

"At a time when cookware safety is in the spotlight, our engineering standards provide the answer," Managing Director, Fran Attilio noted. "Our goal is for everyone in the industry—from manufacturers to retailers—to understand how alignment with these standards demonstrates a commitment to consumer safety without having to say a word."

New Member's Lounge: A Hub for Connection

For the first time, thanks to the IHA, the CBA will feature a dedicated Member's Lounge at the Show, designed specifically for members attending the event. This comfortable space will provide a convenient spot to grab a quick meal, recharge between booth visits, and most importantly, network with fellow CBA members. Whether you're looking to reconnect with industry colleagues or forge new relationships, the Member's Lounge will serve as your home base throughout the three-day event.

"The Member's Lounge represents our commitment to fostering meaningful connections within our community," said Attilio. "We recognize that trade shows move really fast, and our members need a place to gather, refresh, and continue the conversations that drive our industry forward."

Networking Beyond the Booth

In addition to the Member's Lounge and booth presence, CBA representatives will be active throughout the Show, including hosting a special lounge at the Networking After Dark event on Wednesday, March 11, from 5:30-7:30 PM in the South Building Grand Ballroom S100. This reception offers all Show participants the chance to continue discussions over cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, games, and music—an ideal setting for great conversations.
