The Ankarsrum Assistent Original has a unique design for better kneading, with a rotating bowl instead of something rotating in a bowl to simulate kneading by hand. Made in Sweden, this premium model is designed for whisking, mixing, kneading, pasta making, blending, pressing, grinding, shredding, sausage stuffing and straining, with a variety of attachments for additional functions.
“We expected strong sales this year as US consumers learned more about our superior design, but then home cooking and baking took off like never before because of the pandemic. We’ve been hard at work strategizing ways to increase production. December and January are historically the top selling months for Ankarsrum, and much of this inventory has already been pre-sold.
Red is the color of the year for the Ankarsrum Assistent Original, representing almost one out of five units sold – followed by Black Chrome and Black Diamond, two distinctive colors that when combined show the importance of black in contemporary kitchens, with almost one fourth of the brand’s sales this year. Glossy White and Jubilee Silver are next, followed by Royal Blue, Ocean Blue, Forest Green, Orange, Light Crème and Creme. The full Ankarsrum color palette is another strength of the brand.
The Ankarsrum Assistent Original stands out for its iconic retro design and its many applications, powerful motor, reliability, long service life, and compatibility with models from different years.
