N.Y. Mayor to Headline Industry Breakfast at IH+HS
Michael Bloomberg, mayor of New York, will be the featured speaker during the annual Industry Breakfast at the 2013 International Home + Housewares Show (IH+HS). The breakfast begins at 7:15 a.m. March 5 in the South Building, Level 1, Room S100/Grand Ballroom.
Bloomberg currently serves as the 108th mayor of New York. First elected in 2002, Bloomberg’s accomplishments include taking control of the city’s schools and launching reforms that have resulted in higher test scores, lower dropout rates and better teachers; and keeping New York safe by reducing crime.

SIAL Canada Returns to Toronto
Professional food show SIAL Canada (Salon International de l’Alimentation) is returning to Toronto from April 30 to May 2 at the Direct Energy Centre in Exhibition Place.
