Canadian Federal Court Settles Case Between Trudeau, BODUM
The Federal Court of Canada has rejected the claim of industrial design infringement made by BODUM USA and PI Design against Trudeau in a case filed in February 2007.  The court also invalidated both of BODUM’s industrial design registrations covering the configuration of double-walled glasses and found that Trudeau branded products were dissimilar and did not infringe on BODUM’s industrial designs. The court awarded Trudeau costs in the action.  BODUM had also brought a claim for passing off, which it abandoned during the trial. Peugeot Opens U.S. Office, Hires Team
To expand its presence in the U.S. market, Peugeot (PSP USA), has opened an office in Chicago led by industry expert Yvette Laugier, who was named general manager. Fairway Market Sets IPO Price at Between $10 and $12 per Share
Fairway Market has priced its initial public offering (IPO) of 13.7 million Class A shares at between $10 and $12 per share as it seeks to raise as much as $164 million.At the high end of the price range, the specialty grocery chain would be valued at about $495 million, according to a Reuters report.
