Swiss Diamond Partners With Goodwill® for Nationwide Buyback Program
Swiss Diamond, in collaboration with Goodwill, has announced the launch of a nationwide pan buyback program to give back to communities. From July 1 through Sept. 30, consumers may bring in one pan of any brand to receive $20 off purchases of Swiss Diamond products valued at $80 or more. The luxury cookware manufacturer produces a complete line of products suitable for use on standard and induction stove tops. Real diamond crystals in the patented nonstick coating provide superior performance, increasing both thermal conductivity and durability of the cookware.

Crate & Barrel Names New CEO
Retailer Crate & Barrel has named Doug Diemoz its new CEO, effective Aug. 1. Diemoz is currently chief development officer of Restoration Hardware, where he oversees the brand’s global expansion, Crain’s Chicago Business reported last week.
Northbrook-based Crate & Barrel has been without a permanent chief executive since August after Sascha Bopp was pushed out. Adrian Mitchell, who served as Crate’s interim CEO, will continue as chief operating officer and chief financial officer.

Raspberry Rhubarb Goat Milk Caramels from Big Picture Farm in Townshend, Vt., is the winner of the sofi for outstanding new product of 2015. The confection is one of 33 winners in the annual competition that honors excellence across all specialty food categories.

Coming soon – new ways to enjoy beets, flower-infused drinks and snacks, and the spirit of cocktails away from the bar, according to a panel of trendspotters. Panel members made their way through thousands of products to discern the newest trends in specialty food at the Summer Fancy Food Show.

Wegmans Gives $1.5 Million for Learning Space at the Smithsonian
The Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History will open Wegmans Wonderplace Dec. 9 as the first exhibition on the National Mall designed for the learning needs of children 6 and younger.
